Railway JE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: As of 1st January 2019, the minimum age of the candidates must be 18 years and the maximum age limit is 33 years.

Educational Qualification: The educational qualification for the candidates is different for multiple posts offered through Railway JE 2019 Exam. Let’s look into it in detail.

Railway JE 2019 Exam Pattern

Negative Marking: There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
